Recently took advantage of the special offer at Discovery Cove, and it was fantastic! Swimming with dolphins was a dream come true, and exploring The Grand Reef, Freshwater Oasis, and more made for an action-packed day. The fact that it includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks, plus select beer and wine, is just icing on the cake. Plus, with 14 days of unlimited admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica, it's a deal you can't pass up!
My visit to Discovery Cove was the highlight of my trip to Orlando! Swimming with dolphins was an amazing adventure, and the park's tranquil atmosphere made it a day of relaxation and fun.
Discovering Discovery Cove was like stepping into paradise! Swimming with dolphins was an unforgettable experience, and the park's attention to detail made every moment special.

Another lovely visit - Discovery cove is a must for us whenever we go to Orlando. It's such a beautiful relaxing day.
We didn't do the Dolphin swim this time as we've... read more done it before. If you do have the dolphin swim booked then I'd arrive around 7-8am.
We got there at 9am and waited about 20 mins to be checked in.
We did have an issue with our tickets which we booked through Undercover Tourist. They had actually cancelled them with no refund months ago, for no reason. 15 mins later the manager very kindly sorted the situation and allowed us in.
It's best to find some sun beds first as people do snap them up, but there are tons available.
Breakfast was ok, unfortunately not as nice as it used to be, but still good enough. And I didn't want to feel stuffed before walking around in my swimming costume all day anyway!
We went to the bird aviary after breakfast whilst it was still warming up and fed the birds, which is always lovely.
The lazy river goes to 8ft deep so my daughter used a life jacket as she's not the most confident of swimmers. The fresh water part with the fish also goes very deep, but it's shallow where the sting rays swim around.
Everything was very clean and lunch was very good with lots of choice of jerk chicken, coconut crusted salmon, burgers, chicken strips, salads etc.
One thing im not a fan of is that you now only get red/wine wine included and bud light, as well as a few other beers. No spirits. Which forces you to pay the $40 extra per person for cocktails.
There were also plenty of snack options, pizza, pretzels, chips (crisps) cookies, and bananas.
The showers are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels.
We looked around the shop but it was very expensive. $45 for a cheaply made t-shirt!
We will definitely go again as it's a lovely day, but I'll buy direct next time and look out of the black Friday sale deals.
October 26, 2023We stayed in a cabana with a fridge and snacks ( refilled often ) and we had an excellent time and a shout to Jeff F he was so helpful... read more and and amazing thank you Jeff . Overall It was an amazing stay
October 20, 2023Total Relaxation - Specifically booked Discovery Cove as a recharge day halfway through our holiday. We arrived for 7:30am and was surprised at how long the line was to enter the park. Entry... read more was not efficient at all and took an age. Once inside we were able to have breakfast then change into swimwear and relax. Some of the staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful but most were lovely. Spoke to a dolphin trainer about the ones we swam with 10 years ago and was thrilled to hear one was still with them and fit and healthy, sadly the other had passed away but at the age of 40 had surpassed all expectation. Drinks and food are complimentary. Premium drinks package available at additional charge but we just stuck to basics - very nice white wine. Lots to do - my favourite is still the reef pool where you snorkel among lots of beautiful fish and very tame rays! There's also a fresh water pool with viewing areas for otters, an aviary and marmosets. My favourite day of the holiday. Very sad to leave. Wish the closing time was 6:30 or 7pm not 5pm.

Amazing day! - Where do I start, we had an absolutely amazing day.
There was a queue to checkin however only around 15-20 minutes which in Orlando tourist spots is nothing!
... read more /> We were provided information on where we could eat and the times.
We booked day beds which personally I felt were great, however there was loads of sun beds so it wouldn’t be an issue getting a seat if you didn’t choose them.
I’m celiac (gluten free) so I spoke with the supervisor Pauline who was amazing, she talking me through everything I could have, she also gave me loads of snacks for throughout the day.
You are provided lockers and also given either a west suit or a vest, we opted for the vest which was comfy and find to use.
The river was partially closed, however did open fully in the middle of the day, we saw the otter, marmosets, dolphins, birds and flamingos (the flamingos only wander in the morning).
Overall we had an amazing day, I will definitely be returning and would recommend!
October 10, 2023The best attraction / park in Florida, maybe anywhere! - We had watched a few YouTube videos before going so had high hopes & they were exceeded several times over. The staff, could not be more helpful &... read more are constantly cleaning especially the toilets & showers. There is a good choice of food although the quality is not amazing but that’s not why you there. The dolphin swim was amazing but the star of the show was the grand reef. I’ve done a lot of snorkelling in various counties but this was the most incredible experience.
What I loved the most was how they have clearly thought of everything. From providing sun cream to being offered a prescription swimming mask on the way in at no additional cost.
Yes it’s expensive but the chances are you might only go once so if you can, spend the money, have the dolphin experience, pay for the professional photos (with the digital option you get lots!) & make some truly incredible memories that will last a life time.
October 17, 2023Highlight of holiday - An absolute highlight of our recent holiday to Orlando. As a family of 4 we booked a day here including the dolphin swim. We had an absolute ball... read more all day. The food being all inclusive was great as there was no additional food or drink costs for us on the day.
The pool with the fish was a hit with my youngest daughter, she loved seeing all the different fish up close.
The dolphin experience was out of this world. The trainers are exceptional and you can tell how well the dolphins are looked after. Our party had Coral as our dolphin, and was just precious! We had a truly amazing time, and has even made my youngest daughter decide she'd love to work with dolphins when she's older!

Amazing day - Paradise in a day. Lovely relaxing day, amazing food and the snorkeling pools are fab.
The dolphin swim is good for getting up close, kids loved it.
October 24, 2023Cabana not worth the extra money. Even with jet-lag. - We purchased a private cabana as we were coming straight from the airport after a 20 hour flight from Australia. Was told our alcoholic drinks would be in fridge just after 11am but did not receive them until after 12.15 had we known we could have rearranged our plans to suit and also got our own at the bar. Then whenever she asked us for any orders she would leave and completley forget about them. So our drinks package part of the cabana was completly useless. When paying that much money especially converted from Aussie dollars we were very disappointed. Luckily the reef swimming area made up for it. Though the lazy river was just token.
In saying all this. If you don't purchase a cabana it is awesome. Swimming in the reef pool is worth every cent but make sure you swim out further as the abundance of fish can only be seen in the deeper back areas. The staff at the reef are very knowledgeable too.

Depending on when you arrive, they do check bags at the entrance which can get backed up. Check in was super easy and fast! We love to scuba and snorkel and this gave our 7 year old a chance to see what they would look like. She swam like a champ and wasn't afraid to be swimming with fish! The food was decent for all you can eat. I am giving this 4 stars because I do feel they should offer full face masks for children with valid reasons. We had to buy one at $90. If you have a full mask for your child, pack it and bring it! The showers were nice, great water pressure. Be sure to pack change of clothes, hair bush, etc. as they do provide shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the showers along with plenty of towels. There are lockers which are included in the price. Water shoes? If you are sensitive to hard surfaces for the fresh water oasis. I suggest bringing your own. The sand was super soft to the touch. Another tip, bring sand toys if your child enjoys sand play. They do offer many items if you forget anything but it's pretty pricey. You pay for convenience! The staff who works with the animals were great, patient and seemed to care very much for them. The food staff all were super friendly but a little slow in the burger line. Plenty of food options so don't feel you need to stand in line, walk around and help yourself! The cleaning staff all friendly as they did their job. What else was great is, they limit the amount of people each day. It never felt crowded. Only dining can be be a bit busy. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering snorkeling in the future.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Sandra Warner2023-11-01This was our second trip, the first being in 2017. This is still a 5 star attraction. From the moment you check in to the moment you leave, you feel as if you are a highly regarded celebrity in a private resort. Food is all you can eat and is outstanding from the western eggs we had in the am to the variety of lunch items we tried such as burgers and fries, pepper steak and vegan wraps. Totally worth getting a private cabana especially if you need a catnap or have a sleepy child. Plenty of towels and sunscreen and water!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Steve Kemak2023-11-01Dolphin experience was very good. Nice experience, not overly crowded. Recommend an adventure to do. However quite pricey.
